Windy 27022015

Tried out, well, quite a bit with this piece. Still practicing paint-ish style though I left the line art on for this. Been worrying a lot over how the heck Windy’s mane actually worked. The only thing I could figure was that the left side of her forelock was just ridiculously longer than her right. So I gave her a bit of a trim. Dunno if it’ll stick but I figured I’d try it out. In her easter pic her mane looks almost like a helmet and that’s been bugging me. XD Trying to get better at shading hair, too and being more mindful of colors and all that jazz. I still need to work on anatomy and such more and could certainly work towards better compositions rather than a single character just kinda standing there. I also inadvertently altered the colors of her cutie mark a tad. I think I like the lighter color cloud but am on the fence with the plain blue snowflakes. Oh, and I tried something new with my siggy there. Again, dunno if I’ll stick with it or not.
